The Anderson Radio Club offers those looking to get their amateur radio license the opportunity to take the exam. We offer exams for all 3 license levels, starting with Technician, then General, and Amateur Extra.

Testing session are held at the Anderson County Emergency Management Office, 200 Bleckley St. Anderson, SC on the second floor.

To take the exam you need to bring the following:

1. FRN (FCC Registration Number) . If you don’t have an FRN, go to the FCC Cores website and register.
2. A copy of your current amateur license if you are upgrading.
3. Photo ID.
4. $15.00 Testing Fee.
